Meeting Place Mexico (mpm)

International tourism experts are heralding the growth of tourism related to event planning, meetings, conferences, congresses and incentive trips for the security it affords touristic destinations. Mexico is an attractive location for hosting such events with many hotels and convention centers located in beautiful settings. Mexico Meeting Place is a conference and networking event to capture this significant segment of the tourism market. MPM is the most professional and important business to business encounter in Mexico for the Industry of Conventions and Incentive Trips and brings together around 150 highly qualified buyers to meet with 80-100 sellers, destinations and suppliers each year. This year two events will be held, June 1-3, 2008, in Puerto Vallarta and November 16-18, 2008, in Cancun.

This trade show is organized by Editorial World, publishers of the magazine Destinos & Convenciones and Avanti Plus, Casa de Incentivos, with the support of the Mexican Secretary of Tourism and of the Counsel of Tourist Promotion.

Guests include, Suppliers: Airlines, OCV´S, Hotel Groups, Incentives Planners, Resorts, Spas, Suppliers of technology, among others. Buyers: Associations, Executives of businesses and corporations, Government offices, professional convention and event organizers, coordinators and salespersons of Conventions and Incentive Trips, and Travel Agencies that special in conventions.

The main objective of MPM is to invite organizers of Corporate Conventions and Incentive Trips to the Mexican Republic for them to see what Mexico has to offer them, with the goal of encouraging more conventions being held in Mexico. MPM is comprised of five elements: 1. Educational Seminars, 2. Destination showcases, 3.Tours of host city, 4.Introduction to specialized press, 5. Networking opportunities, for buyers and supplies alike.
